Meet Fern: A Gentle Soul Seeking a Special Home | Background: Rescued from a garden with her family | Vibe: Sweet, playful, and a little shy

Fern didn’t have the easiest start to life, having been found outdoors with her mom and sister. Despite that "rough start," she has discovered that humans can be

pretty wonderful. She has officially mastered the art of the "cuddle strike," seeking out affection from her foster mum whenever she feels safe and loved.

 

What Fern Needs

Fern is looking for a specific type of environment:

A Quiet Sanctuary: She would thrive best in an adult-only home or one with older, calm children. High energy and loud noises from little ones are a bit too much for

her nervous system.

Patience & Love: She may take a moment to tuck into her new surroundings, but once she trusts you, her affectionate side truly shines.

 

Her Favorite Things

Don't let her shy side fool you—Fern has a playful spirit!

The Hunt: You’ll frequently find her zooming around the house chasing balls.

The Scratching Post: She’s a good girl who knows exactly where to sharpen her claws (her furniture-saving skills are top-tier!).

Playtime: Toys are the fastest way to her heart and a great way to help her build confidence.

 

Fern will ideally need a safe garden to explore once she has settled in her new home.
