My Story

Matey is a 4-year-old soul who recently lost the only world he ever knew. After his devoted owner passed away, Matey arrived in our care feeling a bit lost and

confused. He was incredibly well-loved, and it shows in his gentle nature.

Because he spent his life as the loyal companion to an elderly gentleman, he currently feels most comfortable around men. However, with a patient heart

and some tasty treats, we know he has plenty of love to give to anyone willing to earn it!

Health: Fully vet-checked, neutered, and up to date on flea/worm treatments.

Family: Best suited for a home with children aged 8+.

Other Pets: He has always been an "only child," so we are currently assessing how he feels about other furry friends.
