Maisie

My Story

Maisie’s story is one of quiet resilience and incredible strength. This gentle soul came into our care over a year ago, a new mum and suffering from a serious tail-pull injury. Her tail was broken, and the damage had left her unable to use her back legs or control her bladder.

But Maisie didn’t give up – and neither did we.

She had given birth to healthy kittens and proved to be a devoted mum, even while facing her own physical challenges. After her tail was amputated and with plenty of rest, care, and encouragement, Maisie has regained the use of her back legs. She can now move around on her own.

Though she’s made amazing progress, Maisie still needs her bladder manually expressed each day – something we’re happy to teach her new family. It’s a simple routine once you know how, and Maisie is wonderfully tolerant and trusting during the process.

Maisie is gentle, affectionate, and full of character. She’s looking for a special home – one where she can continue to be loved and supported.

Could you be the kind, patient human Maisie has been waiting for?
